Math Book

I'm working on a math book.  Second edition coming soon.  But if you want to check out the first book, it's here.

This is written especially for homeschoolers, but would work well with all students.  Could also be used as a supplement to help kids struggling in traditional school.

Basically, this is a new approach to arithmetic mastery.  Traditional schooling is pretty much straight drill.  It's boring and it doesn't work well.  Kids develop bad habits at the outset and too many an extreme distaste for math altogether.

This book is a workbook that is meant for kids to work somewhat independently, but they should ALWAYS have someone there to guide them.  Again, it was written with homeschoolers in mind so it gives kids something to work on each day with the guidance of a parent.

Kids work through the book by practicing arithmetic without really noticing.  That's the point.  It's a more of a creative endeavor for them so it's more interesting, and all the while they are mastering arithmetic through repetition.

Be sure to comment and let me know what you think.
